Is Sanjaya Malakar Seducing 'American Idol' Audience, Jennifer Lopez?

Sanjaya Malakar and Jennifer Lopez? American Idol 6 has produced a phenom known as Sanjaya Malakar. Yeah, yeah, we know Sanjaya can't sing but he's a helluva entertainer.

The theme was Latin sounds and guest mentor Jennifer Lopez was quite enamored with Sanjaya. She finished the song "Besame Mucho" while he was practicing, as if she were singing a duet with him.

"I love Sanjaya," she said excitedly after she gave him advice.

I mean this guy really knows how to push it to the limit, he's even tried picking up on Jennifer Lopez by saying on air, "I definitely hoped that Jennifer Lopez picked up on my passion and um...maybe I'll get her number later and we won't have to tell Marc Anthony about any of that, well see."

Maybe we will. An article in the newest edition of American magazine Ok! reported that the couple have "called it quits" after a tumultuous few months, in which the "controlling" Anthony has "suffocated" his wife.

Sanjaya and J.Lo would make a cute couple no? Our friend David at Pretty On The Outside has an illustration of what that might look like below.

David writes: 'I think it's so funny that Jennifer Lopez was the musical guest/ mentor to the American Idol contestants this week. It baffles me that the JLO would be imparting musical advice. It's kind of like Madonna giving acting lessons. Sanjaya Malakar & Jennifer Lopez?

I love how all the contestants where sitting on the floor staring at her so reverently while she, perked on a stool, gave advice like she was teaching some sort of master's class. Sure I will admit when I'm alone in my car and "Waiting for Tonight" comes on, I may just turn in up. What I also loved is that during their confessional moments, Sanjaya said "Maybe I'll get her number later and we won't have to tell Marc Anthony." Oh my sweet Sanjaya.............. I hope your wish comes true. Just let her lead.' We couldn't agree more.
